Jonathan has been using a camera professionally for over 5 years and has been working with people to achieve memorable images for as long as he has been photographing. His main interest lies in the discipline of wildlife photography, but has taken on various assignments ranging from portrait sittings, to theatre shoots, to teaching.
He attended the University of Plymouth between 2006 and 2009 and successfully earned a BA(Hons) in Design: Photography. His body of work titled 'Darwin's Primates' raised a large amount of interest, both amongst members of the university and other practitioners in the city of Plymouth.
Jonathan is currently specialising in event and portrait photography, including weddings, theatre commissions and sports events. He is also increasing his client base in his exotic pets sideline, where he is becoming very popular with the local community of exotics owners.
All the while he is expanding his wildlife portfolio in his own time and for his own enjoyment. He also has a few projects planned in which he will be looking at the hugely under-appreciated UK wildlife scene.
