Well, I've been using a lot of my spare time recently for mountain biking. The weather has been superb up here in North Wales, blue skies, little breeze and actually quite mild for the time of year. I have been taking the camera with me but it has been a secondary incentive to the biking. I've met some great people over at Mountain Biking North Wales and I have managed to get a handful of shots from each ride. I should get more and more as the rides progress and I get to know everybody a little better.
I also have a self-portrait session planned for next week, so keep your eyes peeled for that one.

I have decided to move my blog to my site, rather than having it seperate. So here it is......

Last week I received my new bike, a 2010 Mongoose Tyax Super. It's a lovely little bike and due to it being the 2010 model I got it at 2/3 retail price (just £400!). Considering the spec, I think this is an absolute steal!
I have been out twice so far in the last week, and it's just brilliant. The bike is really smooth, with some great shocks, and absolutely stunning tyres (Kenda Excavators), really grippy, even in the wet and mud that we have everywhere up here at the moment.
I have enjoyed being in Wales, but there are bits I miss about the South coast, hopefully taking up mountainbiking again will help me overcome those disappointments, there are some superb trails up here!
I've joined a mtb forum based in North Wales (http://www.mbnw.co.uk/), and they have a monthly ride, so hopefully I should be able to make some new friends, and get the opportunity to take some great images/videos.
All in all things are looking quite good at the moment, It's great to be back on a mtb (haven't ridden in the last 7 years, and boy have I missed it!).
